Recently, the Cities for Sustainable Public Finances (CSPF) met for their 10th time in London focusing on how cities are leading the way in adopting new technologies, with a particular emphasis on artificial intelligence. Discussions highlighted how cities are moving beyond static PDF reports towards open and usable data, especially for urban planning. Participants explored the growing importance of AI agents and the need for strong data infrastructures like data warehouses. Real-world examples, such as Hamburg’s LLMoin initiative, demonstrated how AI is already being integrated into digital ecosystems.
