CAF Label for Agency for Peaceful Settlement of Labour Disputes of Serbia

Handing over the Effective CAF User certificate

The Agency for Peaceful Settlement of Labour Disputes of Serbia was awarded the "Effective CAF User" certificate in the presence of Alexandra Schantl for the CAF Centre at the KDZ. The Agency is the second institution in the Western Balkans and the first in Serbia to receive the "Effective CAF User" certificate.
We are pleased that the KDZ supported the development of the Regional Quality Management Center at the Regional School of Public Administration and is now experiencing the benefits of this collaboration. 




Local Governemnt Expert Group

Meeting of the Expert Group on Local Government Finance of the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR)

KDZ Managing Director Thomas Prorok presented the results of the "Fiscal Decentralisation Report in South East Europe" during the meeting of the CEMR (Council of European Municipalities and Regions) Expert Group on Local Government Finance in Brussels. Council of Europe Peer Review Report published

Together with experts from Croatia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the United Kingdom, KDZ Managing Director Thomas Prorok participated 2023 in consultations with local partners in Hungary on intergovernmental financial relations, data access and use, capacity building and the structure of the local government system. These days the report “Intergovernmental Fiscal Relations, Data Access and Use, and LocalCentral Policy Dialogue” was published with the results.

Continous improvement through the CAF model

On January 24th, the Government Office of the Slovak Republic organised the conference "Continuous improvement through the CAF model - support of the guarantors and support of the guarantors and methodologists of the CAF model" in Bratislava. The Head of the CAF Centre at KDZ, Philip Parzer, attended the conference along with a number of representatives from Slovak ministries and spoke about the change dynamics in the implementation of CAF and how the model can be used to drive lasting and effective change initiatives in public administrations.
