Yesterday the next round of #CAF Practitioners Network took place, diving into the change journey with the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) in the Ministry of Culture of Estonia! 🇪🇪 Over 40 #CAF Practitioners from multiple countries listened to the wealth of experiences and insights of Reelika Väljaru and Karin Närep into how they stimulated change and delivered groundbreaking improvements in the change journey of the Ministry. Here are my key take-aways: 🎈Conduct evidence-assessments before starting self-assessment phase: this leads to more clarity on the status of the organisation and serves as a concrete base-line for further improvements 🎈CAF serves as a catalyst for strategy & standards into decentralised units: this leads to more conformity in procedural standards, management practices and improves overall efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery of the whole organisation 🎈Regular monitoring + embedding it into internal communication and management meetings is key to keep on track and drive improvements effectively and in time Thank you Reelika Väljaru and Karin Närep for your valuable and hands-on insights into how you use the #CAF for driving change in the Ministry and all participants from so many countries for making this event so enriching! 🗓️ Save the date for the next CAF Practitioners Network on June 12, 2025, 2-3:30 p.m. CET (online) where Thomas Prorok and I will bring another inspiring #CAF organisation before the curtain!
